Who we are

MERCHANDKO INC. ("Merchandko", "we") is a company based in Toronto, Canada. We design, produce and fulfil licensed merchandise. This policy covers the Merchandko website. yardppl, our community brand, publishes its own privacy policy for its events and app.

What we collect

• When you request a line sheet: your name or brand name and your email address.
• When you email us: your email address and whatever you choose to tell us.
• When you visit: our hosting provider processes technical details your browser sends, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver the site and keep it secure. The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser also connects to Google to fetch them.

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies on this site.

Why we collect it

• To reply to your request and prepare a line sheet for you.
• To set up and run a licensing partnership if we decide to work together.
• To keep the website working and secure.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

• Service providers that host this website, process the request form and deliver our email. They handle information on our instructions.
• Production and fulfilment partners, only once a partnership is agreed, and only what they need to do their part.
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

Some of our service providers store information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it is subject to the laws of that country.

How long we keep it

If a request does not lead to a partnership, we delete it within 24 months of our last contact with you. If we work together, we keep the records we need for the partnership and for our legal and tax obligations.

Your choices

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw your consent to our using it. Email hello@merchandko.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information, and we limit access to people who need it. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure.

Children

This website is for businesses, creators and their teams. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Questions and complaints

Contact us first and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
